Annual Import Register Breeds Match

Our match will be held in conjunction with The National Dog Show on Thursday 23rd September 2021, The match will take place in the Import Ring once all the main show judging has been completed. there will be 4 clubs entered this year, The Portuguese Pointer Club UK, The Slovakian Rough Haired Pointer Club, The Korthal’s Griffon Club and this year we are joined by The Braque d’Auvergne Association. Entry can be arranged with the club Secretaries, although they will be available before the match. The Judge on the day as usual will be announced at the match.

Another good Match at The National Dog Show, we had a lower entry this year of dogs due to Gundogs being on a Thursday, Our Judge on the day was Gundog Judge Martyn Rees, our best in match this year was the Slovakian Rough Haired Pointer. Also in Import Register the Portuguese Pointer entry was 12 dogs, congratulations to all.
Update Nov 6th 2021
The Portuguese Pointer Club will be attending Discover Dogs at London ExCeL on Saturday & Sunday 20th & 21st November, we are on stand DD123 at the rear of the hall. come along and speak to us and meet the breed.

Many thanks to Mark & Ian for attending both days at Discover Dogs in London, Once more the dogs did the breed proud attracting lots of attention from the public, many thanks to Titan & Amber. some pictures on the Gallery page.
Update Feb 16th 2022
We will be at Discover Dogs stand at Crufts 2022 on each of the 4 days, different dogs each day come along and meet the breed, 10th – 13th March
Update 7th May 2022
Our match will be held in conjunction with The National Dog Show on Saturday 7th May, The match will take place in the Import Ring once all the main show judging has been completed. there will be 4 clubs entered this year, The Portuguese Pointer Club UK, The Slovakian Rough Haired Pointer Club, The Korthal’s Griffon Club and this year we are joined by The Braque d’Auvergne Association. Entry can be arranged with the club Secretaries, although they will be available before the match. The Judge on the day as usual will be announced at the match.The AGM of the Portuguese Pointer Club UK will take place at approx 12:00 collecting adj to Import ring.
Update October 2022
We will once more be attending Discover Dogs in London ExCel on the 15th & 16th October, come along and meet the breed, we are on stand DD125.
Update February 2024

Entry can be arranged with the club Secretaries, although they will be available before the match. The Judge on the day as usual will be announced at the match.
